英語(yǔ)中復(fù)雜句的譯法

（一），名詞性從句的譯法

主語(yǔ)從句

在翻譯由what, whatever, whoever, that, when, where, how, whether 等引導(dǎo)的主語(yǔ)從句，一般仍按照原文句子結(jié)構(gòu)的前后順序。

1. Whoever fulfills his task first will lend a helping hand to others.

由it 做形式主語(yǔ)的從句:

2. It is a fact that the USA has sent its fleet to all parts of the world.

賓語(yǔ)從句

1. I have noticed that if you speak too slowly people may cut you off.

有it 做形式賓語(yǔ)，

2. They consider it a great compliment that the President should visit them.

表語(yǔ)從句

The question is whether we can finish our work by tomorrow evening.

同位語(yǔ)從句  

中間用冒號(hào)，或即來(lái)連接

1. We can not deny the fact the Beijing, at the moment, is not as green a city as what we like it to be.

二， 定語(yǔ)從句的譯法

1.如果定語(yǔ)較短，可以放在被修飾詞之前，中間加的。

They are the engineers that designed the new- type machine.

2.如果定語(yǔ)長(zhǎng)，可以后置，譯成并列分句。

That is the poor little boy who has no playmates of his age living nearby and has to go to school by himself.

3.一些定語(yǔ)在意義上與主句有狀語(yǔ)關(guān)系，說(shuō)明原因，時(shí)間，地點(diǎn)，目的，讓步等
